Quality

At the heart of our business, ‘quality’ forms one of our core values. We believe that a high quality product is a manifestation of a constant quality-orientated mindset, and a relentless attitude of continuous improvements across each of our business processes.

Kupanda’s Commitment to Quality Statement reflects key aspects of our Group Quality Management Plan, and non-negotiable product standards, which have been derived from industry best practices and European Commission regulatory requirements. We work within the bounds of European regulations, such as REACH, CLP and Novel Foods, among others, to ensure rigorous compliance.

Accreditation

A key stipulation in Kupanda’s Quality Management Plan is that our key business partners possess relevant accreditation – either from a process, technical and/or organic certification perspective.

Our production partners in Germany are ISO 9001, HACCP and/or FSSC 22000 certified, and have maintained their respective certification/s for an admirable period of time. Additionally, these affiliates, along with our logistics partners and Kupanda are organic certified.

All laboratory testing of our products is performed in independent European facilities, where our partners are ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited, and testing is performed in accordance with European Pharmacopoeia.

Perhaps the greatest accreditation comes from our customers, whose testimonials reflect their reliance on Kupanda to robustly connect Africa with Europe, and beyond, for their pertinent raw material needs that are repeatedly delivered to their satisfaction.
